Fantasy Football Week 15: Cordarrelle Patterson and Toby Gerhart Make for a Deadly Duo

Ryan Tannehill (Dolphins QB) – If you need a guy, Tannehill has quietly been the seventh-best fantasy quarterback over the past month. They have the Patriots at home this week, and Tannehill has been getting a few bonus points for his rushing yards. In a warm weather Miami game that will be highly competitive, Tannehill is my plug-in for Week 15.

Jordan Todman (Jaguars RB) – MJD looks like he’ll miss this week against Buffalo, leaving Todman as the feature back. He’s a quick, decisive back, very similar to Bobby Rainey who torched the Bills’ defense last week. Look for Todman to use his 4.4 speed and have a solid game this week.

Toby Gerhart (Vikings RB) – Gerhart is dealing with a hamstring injury of his own, but looks likely to suit up this week. AP is in serious doubt to play, so Gerhart should be another solid start in wake of injury. The Philadelphia Eagles give up the 17th-most fantasy points to running backs, and Gerhart is owned in just 10 percent of leagues.

Cordarrelle Patterson (Vikings WR) – Patterson caught five balls for 141 yards and a touchdown last week against the Ravens, and is a legitimate threat on the Vikings’ offense.  Against the league-worst Eagles’ pass defense this week, I like Patterson as a high upside WR3. He’s owned in 27 percent of leagues.

DeAndre Hopkins (Texans WR) – Hopkins has been in the 70-yard range the past two weeks, and gets the seventh-worst Colts’ passing defense this week. The Texans threw the ball 58 times last week, which is always a good sign of things to come.

Jacob Tamme (Broncos TE) – Tamme will move to the slot role with Wes Welker unlikely to play Thursday against the Chargers. He played on 45 of the 46 snaps following Welker’s concussion last week, and caught four balls for 47 yards. He should do quite some damage in the shootout Thursday.
