Lewis, a senior diver, has begun his final season on a brilliant note. After winning NEWMAC diver of the year last year, Lewis has begun this season with a NEWMAC diver of the week honor following two impressive performances in a tri-meet with Coast Guard, the University of Rhode Island and Holy Cross on Oct. 25. Lewis won five NEWMAC diver of the week honors last season, before picking up his first this season.

Q. What were the biggest things you worked on this offseason?
A. During the offseason I mainly focused on my conditioning with cardio and various lifting. The smaller you are, the easier it is to flip. So I focused significantly on losing weight.

Q. How do you rate your performance so far this season?
A. So far my performance this year has been a little off. I have had great practices, and now it’s just time to work on having that transitioning over into meets. And that will just come with time.

Quiles, a freshman forward, has played a huge part in the success of women’s soccer this season. A native of Poughkeepsie, NY. Quiles had one assist in the women’s final regular season game against Wellesley College, and also had one assist in the women’s 3-1 victory over Coast Guard in the NEWMAC Championship Quarterfinals. The Exercise Science major is third on the team with five goals and also has three assists this season. She is also credited with 2 game-winning goals this season.

Q. What is your biggest contribution to this team?
A. My biggest contribution to my team is my support, dedication, and work ethic throughout every game and practice. I’m thankful to have experienced my first season playing at the collegiate level with this special team. The transition into college wouldn’t have been this easy if it weren’t for the continuous support and encouragement of my team.

Q. Who have you looked up to most in you first season on the team?
A. My first season being apart of this team I have looked up to my three captains and upperclassman.
