It’s beginning to feel a lot like sweater weather. Which is, in my opinion, the best time of the year. Not because it is beautiful outside, or because it means Christmas is coming, but simply because it is comfy.
Sweaters are one of the best articles of clothing because they just make everything better. I have never met anyone, girl or guy, who dislikes curling up in a cozy sweater.
Guys have it easy though; for them sweaters are thick and fashionable. They can walk into literally any store at the mall, pick up a sweater and have it be thick, fluffy and warm.
Girls, on the other hand, are forced to hunt high and low for a sweater that isn’t sparkly, thin and itchy.
I don’t know where the sweater train jumped the tracks for girls, but it happened and I for one am not a fan.
Don’t fret though because I have the secret and the answer to all your sweater problems. Where can a girl find a real winter sweater?
H&M is the home of many great sweaters and notjust on the girls’ side. That’s right; walk into H&M and check out the guy’s sweaters.
If I am being honest, I own one or two men’s sweaters from H&M. They are great for me because I can buy them in a small or medium and they are long enough to cover my butt so I can wear them with leggings and comfy boots.
That being said, a girl can’t go through her life buying men’s clothing. So if you are looking to buy a sweater from your side of the store I would suggest looking at a Bass store.
Bass sells $100 sweaters for $30; you cannot beat that price or the quality of those sweaters, and they are hands down the best sweaters out there.
Another place that you should at least look is Forever 21. Sometimes, and I mean sometimes, they carry actual sweaters with some substance. I will say the sweaters that I have bought there that are thick are some of my favorites.
If you haven’t noticed yet, I am kind of a sweater snob so take my advice and shop around. It gets cold in Massachusetts so thick sweaters are a necessity when it comes to staying warm.
Get out there and find sweaters for every occasion. One can never own enough sweaters, and that is coming from a girl who has a sweater that is just for doing work at my desk. It never leaves my desk chair. I challenge you to find a sweater you love that much.
