Springfield begins October with a W, after a frustrating September stretch (4-5 record for the month). With the win, the Pride snaps a 4-game losing streak, and salvages their first victory against a conference rival. They improve to 5-5 on the season and 1-2 against their conference. Springfield will take on their fourth conference opponent of the year as they host Mount Holyoke this Saturday, October 10 at Stagg Field.
