Pizza Viva — 450 Plumtree Rd, Springfield, MA
A relatively new spot, Pizza Viva first opened their doors a little over a month ago. It features a classic local pizza layout, with over-the-counter slices served in an instant. It has a comfortable aesthetic with some great customer service. There were a couple of tables for seating, and I was able to dive right in. I opted for some square slices for a change, and immediately, one thing stuck out. The sauce was impeccable, jumping right out as terrifically seasoned, warm and flavorful. The crust had a great chewy texture as well. It’s certainly a nice new spot to check out, as pizza viva lands at a respectable four stars
I want to thank everyone for supporting Patty’s Pizza Picks this year, and I’ll be back next year to continue my search for the best pizza in Western Mass.
