This past week, 14 students participated in the East Campus restoration project. Organized by student Hunter Hughes and Assistant Professor of Physical Education and Health Education Steve Groccia, the group committed to cleaning up East Campus. In a three-hour span, the group removed 21 bags of trash from Lake Massasoit. The Director of East Campus Ben Taylor helped with the event, and the project was funded by the Humanics in Action Grant Committee. A similar event is being planned for the spring.
