Embrace Your Inner Style

Yves Saint Laurent once said, “Fashions fade, style is eternal.” This quote is truer than true because, no matter how much the fashions change, your style is always true to you.

The most well-known women in the fashion world, like Marilyn Monroe, Audrey Hepburn, and even Coco Chanel, are all known for their inner style. They didn’t simply “keep up” with the trends.

What all these women had in common was a clear sense of style; they knew what made them look beautiful, and they worked it.

How does one find their inner style? Well, one of the first, and perhaps most important things to find along the way are your confidence and your smile. Without these things, you and your style will always be incomplete.

In order to find your style, you also need to be yourself. If you are a simple person, a simple outfit will be fitting and beautiful on you. Likewise, if you are an extravagant person, then don’t be afraid to let your style reflect that. Don’t pretend to be something you’re not.

Next, realize that denim will never go out of style. Find yourself a pair of jeans that makes you feel like you have super powers, and then buy them in every style and wash they come in.

It is also imperative to be different. No one person is the same, and your style should be true to you. How you dress and the way you carry yourself is a direct reflection of who you are. Your personal style is actually rather important because it says a lot about you.

It is natural to have reservations when it comes to your style because we all have imperfections that make us insecure. Instead of letting those things hold you back, make them your motivation. Don’t be afraid to work whatever  people tell you is imperfect.

It is impossible to look perfect all the time, and those who try to end up looking like they are trying too hard. You don’t want that.

The easiest way to find your inner style is to find your inner you and embrace it. Good luck my fellow fashionistas.
