Fashion Wishlist

fashionIt goes without saying that every girl has a wish list. A list of clothes, accessories, shoes and other designer items that they hope to accumulate over the years.

At first, designer things seemed stupid to me and I couldn’t imagine wasting my money on one simple thing that I’d have to feel nervous wearing or carrying.

I used to look at people that carried the expensive purses and wore the nice shoes and think how nice they looked, but never did I have the desire to own the same things.

And then one day, I saw a pair of Louboutin’s and I was forever changed. I am a girl that loves shoes, but these were unlike anything I had ever seen. The red soles and flawless design of every pair was captivating. Never again would I drool over Michael Kors or Jimmy Choo.

I had a similar experience when it came to Louis Vuitton. I saw those purses all the time and never understood why they were so great. Then I saw it, the Speedy Bandouliere 25, and once again I fell in love.

This small bag retails for $800 and for some crazy reason I would pay that and more just to own that bag. I literally have dreams about this purse and can’t wait for the day it is mine.

I assume that every girl has a similar list of things that they would simply love to own. So here is my advice: kiss up to mom and dad because Christmas is right around the corner!

I know my parents would never just lay out $800 for a purse, so I am the clever daughter that asks if they will meet me halfway.

Now, my dad had a small heart attack when I said I was willing to spend $400 on a purse. But hey, at least I’ve got him thinking about it!

So, for all you girls that have the same high hopes as me, think about the best way to get what you want. However, it is important to remember that one day you will have a big girl job and be able to buy that purse or those shoes for yourself. That feeling of being able to buy something nice for yourself will be the greatest reward ever!
