The cold weather drives people to stay in bed where it is warm and no one wants to get up and go outside once the temperature drops below freezing.
Although October may seem a bit early for winter and snow, it is here whether you like it or not. Ways to beat the cold are a must this week.
Don’t let the weather discourage you from getting out there and doing things like buying new winter clothes.
The first must-have item for winter is a down jacket. They are stuffed with feathers and are guaranteed to keep you warm, even in the snow.
You can find the style that is right for you at Burlington Coat Factory for just $49.99.
The next item on your list should be sweaters; lots and lots of sweaters. Winter is the time of year to work the layers.
JC Penny is the place to go for endless styles of sweaters. They come in all different knits and colors.
They also carry long sleeve shirts in a plethora of colors. This is great because under your new sweaters should be a long sleeve shirt to seal in the warmth.
Boots should also find their way onto your winter list, because if your feet are warm then you are warm.
Uggs are the favored brand of boot because they are trendy and super warm. Their fur lining keeps your feet snug and warm even on the coldest of days.
They are an expensive buy but if you go online you can find great discounts and coupons.
The last items to pick up are a hat and gloves. Just about every store you go in during this season will be selling them.
Pick up a hat and a pair of gloves that match your new winter jacket. And make sure you do not leave the house without them because trust me, you’re going to need them.
