Every girl grows up with a fashion obsession. Some girls are crazy about makeup; others love handbags or clothes.

But for the girls that are wild about shoes, Christian Louboutin is the answer to your prayers.

For instance, when flipping through People Magazine, what is the thing that catches your eye? Could it be the glossy, gorgeous red sole of the shoe of your dreams?

Not only do the red soles look cool, but upon wearing these shoes, your fashion status goes through the roof. Everyone knows who you are when you wear Louboutins.

The designer, Christian Louboutin, vowed to “make shoes that are like jewels.” And it is that promise that inspires the feelings of sophistication, power, femininity and class that go hand-in-hand with these shoes.

Louboutins have become a major icon in the fashion industry today. It seems that everyone wants to get their hands on a pair of these gorgeous shoes.

In fact, in the great world of shoe fashion, they are associated with style and status.

It comes as no surprise that at the young age of 12, Christian Louboutin was sneaking into Parisian nightclubs. He was not there to drink or hear loud music but to admire the showgirls’ shoes.

By 16, the young man appeared with etched designs of shoes for the dancers at the Folies Bergere music hall. The idea for the designs was that they needed to “be beautiful and sexy, but not steal the limelight.”

He attended both the Chanel and Saint Laurent’s schools for design, and in 1991, he launched his first fabulous shoe line and made women remember why they fell in love with shoes.

Louboutin said, “I wanted to create something that broke rules and made women feel confident and empowered.”

Any woman that owns a pair of his shoes would agree that he did just that.
