Back to school doesn’t only mean back to classes, homework and the everyday stresses of being away at school. It means back to fashion!

Yes, summer came and went way too fast, but back to school fashions are definitely something worth getting excited about.

Lets face it; college kids barely get out of bed and dressed for classes during the week, but when the weekend rolls around it’s a totally different story. Everyone dresses to impress, or tries to that is.

It has become clear that college guys are the ones that struggle the most when preparing to go out. The big question being, what do hot college guys wear?

Well, it really isn’t that complicated when you break it down.  Every male needs to have a few staple items in his wardrobe, such as jeans, a light and a dark wash, sweaters both heavy and light, hoodies, a couple button up shirts, and of course, V-necks – lots of them.

This sounds like a lot more clothes than it actually is. These items are called staple items because you can mix and match them all.

For instance, you may want to wear a V-neck with jeans one night because it’s a nice and simple choice that always looks good. But then, say next week you want to wear that V-neck again, you can. Put one of the button-up shirts on over the V-neck and it looks like a completely different outfit.

Buy clothes that can be mixed and matched and layered so that they look like a different outfit every time.

And don’t forget, looking nice doesn’t mean you have to shop at Hollister or Abercrombie. Try stores like T.J. Maxx or Marshalls. They sell all the designer brands that look great for less.

When buying staple items for your wardrobe, don’t be afraid to shop at less expensive stores. Save your money for things like nice sweaters and polo’s from the other stores.
