It takes a great coach to know one, I guess.
Ahead of Friday night’s Final Four matchup versus Nebraska Wesleyan in Salem, Va., Springfield College men’s basketball head coach Charlie Brock received some major props on Twitter from a well known contemporary.
Former UMass. Amherst and current University of Kentucky head coach John Calipari showed Brock and the Pride some love on Twitter, late Wednesday night.
A major shoutout to Charlie Brock and his Springfield college basketball team for going to the DIII Final Four for the first time in school history!! Our game was invented by James Naismith 126 years ago on that campus. Great job!!!

Calipari knows a thing or two about the Final Four. He’s been to it six times at the Division I level. The two coaches have over 1,200 wins between the two of them, and over 1.2 million combined Twitter followers, too (most of the latter belong to Calipari, though.)
The Pride will play Nebraska Wesleyan at 7:30 on Friday night, at the Civic Center in Salem, Va.
