On Oct. 20, John Mailhot, Senior Vice President for Finance and Administration, announced that Springfield College Police Chief Michael Sullivan will be stepping down from his position.

Sullivan was hired in May of 2014 and oversaw an integrated public safety program and all police functions at Springfield College. He directed 15 sworn police officers and 35 administrative, dispatch and security staff.
