2 Guys Pizzeria

I’m not sure I’ve ever seen such a fitting Massachusetts pizza shop. The walls are covered with every piece of Boston sports memorabilia you could think of. First opening in 1964, 2 Guys features a chummy staff and very fair prices. The dining area itself was small, but a nice counter space was the perfect spot to grab some slices. I had ordered just two, apt with the name of the establishment, and was ready to dig in. My eagerness got the best of me. Admittedly, I burned my mouth a little, but that didn’t take away from the flavor. The cheese was great, but the sauce stood out as the home run ingredient, with an explosive tomato sweetness. The crust left a little to be desired. It was light and doughy, but was missing the crispness that would’ve completed the blend. Still, this is the kind of pizza that anyone can enjoy, as 2 Guys Pizzeria lands a well-earned 4 stars.
