This week’s nominees:
Chloe Dewhurst- The senior track athlete won the high jump at the NEWMAC conference championships and became just the third student-athlete in conference history to win three titles over a career.
Allison Ritchie- The sophomore track athlete placed second overall in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 1:07.
Ava Fernandez- The senior hit her first career home run in their NEWMAC matchup vs Wheaton.
Rielly Malz – The senior tennis player dominated her singles match, where she swept her opponent by winning her sets 6-2 and 6-0 respectively, and also won her doubles match.
And on the men’s side:
Alek Turi – The junior attacker for the men’s lacrosse team scored a career-high six goals on only eight shots in the Pride’s 26-9 victory over Clark.
Noah Bleakley – The graduate first baseman/pitcher went 6-for-15 with two home runs, a triple and seven runs batted throughout four games. He also threw a shutout inning on the mound.
Daniel Criscio – At the NEWMAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships, the sophomore thrower defended his conference title in the javelin throw with a distance of 56.80 meters, which was the second-best mark of his career.
Zac Schuette – The senior attacker for the men’s lacrosse team scored five goals and provided seven assists in the Pride’s 26-9 victory over Clark.
