This week’s nominees:
Gianna Scialdone– In three games, the junior had four ground balls, four draw controls, and caused a pair of turnovers.
Christa Carr– At the American International Invitational, Carr placed first overall in the shotput as she threw 42.28 meters.
Shae Bisner-Boulay– At the American International Invitational, freshman Shae Bisner-Boulay placed first overall in the long jump with a jump of 4.79 meters
Taylor Pichel- Pichel scored her 100th career goal as well as five points in the Pride’s matchup vs. Western Connecticut this past weekend.

And on the men’s side:
Jamie Cocca – At the American International Invitational on Saturday, the junior thrower for the track and field team finished first in the hammer throw with a distance of 43.63 meters and finished first in the hammer throw with a distance of 14.33 meters.
Brennen Brandow – The senior outside hitter for the men’s volleyball team totalled 25 kills in nine sets on a .500 hitting percentage throughout Springfield’s undefeated week.
Jack Simonetty – The graduate third baseman for the baseball team went 8-for-19 with five runs batted in throughout Springfield’s four games. His week was highlighted by a 5-for-7 performance with three runs batted in in the team’s 23-12 win over Trinity.
Matt Lilley – The graduate setter for the men’s volleyball team had 67 assists in nine sets along with eight service aces throughout the Pride’s undefeated week.
