This week’s nominees:
Sam Hourihan – The junior standout scored 22 points shooting 50% from the field and 2-3 from three despite the women’s basketball team dropping their first game of the season to MIT on Wednesday. Hourihan also added 12 rebounds.
Rachel Vinton – The junior guard shot 78% from the field and 2-2 from behind the three-point line for a total of 18 points on Wednesday. Vinton added three rebounds, four assists, four steals and a block.
Carolyn Blenk – The sophomore dominated the backstroke on Friday as she picked up a first-place win in the 50 (29.05) and took second in the 100 with a time of 1:01.91.
Hope Maher – The sophomore led the Pride track team in multiple events on Friday, including a seventh-place finish in the 60 meter dash (8.223) and a season-best time of 27.01 in the 200 meter dash.

And on the men’s side:
Zeke Blauner – The sophomore guard played 32 minutes off the bench and scored 18 points on 7-12 shooting from the field. Blauner added seven rebounds, five assists and two steals in Wednesday’s loss to Emerson.
Liam York – The men’s volleyball junior had the best match of his career to take down No. 5 NYU on Wednesday. York tallied an astronomical 29 kills on an impressive .451 hitting percentage while also adding an ace, six digs, one solo block and three block assists.
James Chan – The junior standout in the pool collected wins in the 1,000 free (9:49.82) and the 100 free (48.46) in a win at Trinity on Friday. Chan also finished second in the 50 fly with a time of 23.51 and was part of the first-place 400 free relay team that finished in 3:14.41.
Nate Reynolds – The senior middle blocker had a dominant match at the net at No. 5 NYU on Wednesday, tallying a strong nine block assists. Reynolds added three kills, two aces and a dig to help the Pride to a five-set victory.
