This week’s nominees:
Mikaili Charlemagne – The junior, who appeared in the Tokyo Olympics, was part of the 200 medley relay group that finished in 1:53.20 on Saturday. Charlemagne also took third in the 50 free (25.20) and fifth in the 100 free at 55.66.
Camryn Bancroft – The graduate student posted 39 kills, nine block assists and two solo blocks in three women’s volleyball matches this week.
Emma Robinson – The sophomore recorded her third goal of the season along with an assist in two field hockey losses this week.
Kaleigh Dale – The women’s soccer star netted three goals as the team tied Wheaton on Wednesday. Dale became just the second player in Springfield College women’s soccer history to reach the 100 point mark on her career, despite missing her junior season due to the pandemic.

And on the men’s side:
James Chan – The men’s swimming standout finished first in the 100 freestyle (48.28) and second in the 1000 free (9:52.23) and the 500 free (4:46.47). Chan was also part of the 400 free relay team that came in first place with a time of 3:14.33.
Luca Brashear – The diver won both the three-meter and the one-meter with scores of 273.75 and 285.83, respectively in the team’s first meet on Saturday.
David Wells – The senior quarterback led the football team to a 3-0 start in NEWMAC play with 192 rushing yards and two touchdowns while also completing two passes for 44 yards.
Nicholas DeMaio – The junior led Springfield men’s golf to its best finish in program history as the team finished third in the NEIGA Championships last weekend. DeMaio earned All-New England honors after he tied for fifth place with a two-day total of 152.
