To the Class of 2020:

It wasn’t supposed to end like this. We were promised so much more than how it ended. But the reality is… it’s not over yet.

We may not see each other on campus ever again, but we are still a community. The Springfield Student invites you to use our platform to share your voice. Share your thoughts and feelings on how this transition to online learning has impacted you- the honest, raw truth. Let it out. Don’t hold back. But also, share the best times you had on Alden Street. The memories that stand out the most. The times that challenged you the most. The moments where when you look back 20 years from now, that’s what you’ll remember.

Doesn’t have to be long. Doesn’t have to be artsy or poetic. Doesn’t have to be MLA formatted or even grammatically correct. Just write it down and send it to The Student.

We may be separated, but we’re not alone. We’re experiencing the same feelings. Let The Student be the platform for your voices to help connect us again.

Sincerely,

A senior who feels robbed,

Gabby Guerard — EIC
