The students of Springfield College are fortunate to have so many clubs and extracurricular activities accessible to them. The Student Government Association approves a number of new clubs every year to cater to the growing interest of the student body.

This year, the Student Government is working diligently and is in full swing under the guidance of Rebecca Jacobson. Passing clubs and making improvements for the student body is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the duties that this senior is responsible for.

Most recently, the Art Therapy Club and Art Education Club were added to the ever-growing community at Springfield College.

“Since there are so many opportunities for people interested in athletics at Springfield, it’s really important that we offer the same opportunities for others of diverse interests,” said Jacobson.

The Art Therapy Club will extend the hours of their studio in Blake to create more opportunities to practice their craft and create a stronger community.

“The chance to have a club of their own presents the opportunity to establish a solid identity at Springfield College,” said Jacobson.
