It’s been more than 72 hours since this country turned on their televisions and tuned into the most watched Presidential Debate in United States history. Some were interested, some were curious, and some just wanted to see the entertainment between the two most hated nominees of all time – Donald Trump, and Hillary Clinton.

It’s pretty obvious that these two candidates don’t see eye-to-eye. Ever since Donald Trump became the Republican Party nominee, he gave Clinton the nickname, “Crooked Hillary,” and Clinton recently called out Trump supporters and said, “You can put half of Trump’s supporters into what I call, the basket of deplorables. They’re racist, sexist, homophobic, Islam-phobic, you name it.”

The gloves came off around the 20-minute mark at Hofstra University as both Trump and Clinton were calmly debating. They were discussing jobs, the economy, NAFTA – and then Trump’s tax returns were brought up.

Trump continued to explain that he is currently being audited, but then replied, “I will release my tax-returns… against my lawyer’s wishes…when she releases her 33,000 emails that have been deleted. As soon as she releases, I will release my tax returns.”

Clinton continued to go after Trump, focusing on his temperament, his past treatment of women and minorities, and even discussed President Obama’s birth certificate, something that Trump criticized Obama for not making public. Clinton said, “He is unfit to be President,” as Trump went on that, “Hillary doesn’t have the strength, nor the stamina.”

If you were expecting a Muhammad Ali versus Joe Frazier type of fight, you didn’t quite get that. However, there will be two more debates that take place on October 9th in St. Louis, Missouri, and October 19th in Las Vegas, Nevada. The Vice Presidential debate between Republican candidate, Mike Pence, and Democratic candidate, Tim Kaine will be on Tuesday October 4th.  All debates will start at 9:00 pm EST.
