Getting dressed in the morning is probably something you think wouldn’t take a lot of thought or effort at all.
When you wake up in the morning you are in a mood. The mood you are in plays a significant role in the clothes you choose for that day. You base your outfits off the way you’re feeling inside.
Think about it. Your clothes are the first thing people are going to see. It gives them an idea of who you are and your style, which says certain things about you. You select clothes that make people see you a certain way.
Happier women wear clothes that flatter their figure and make them feel good about themselves. They also choose bright, happy colors that are energizing and fun to look at.
Women in a bad mood tend to wear baggy clothes that are dark and depressing. This hides their figure, and in essence, their emotions.
These clothing choices not only reflect how you are feeling, but they hint at your self-esteem as well. When your self-esteem is low, you tend to wear an outfit you put little effort into and that helps hide your insecurities.
A more positive outlook would result in better looking and fitting outfits. The happy glow that comes along with feeling good also makes you look even better.
So, instead of going to your closet on a bad day and picking out clothes that match the way you feel, pick out your favorite outfit. Wearing that outfit all day will inevitably make you look and feel better about yourself.
Use your fashion as your therapy and you’ll be surprised at the results. If you always look good, then you are going to feel a lot better about yourself.
